These 10 Celebs Are HONEST About Plastic Surgery. See Their Incredible Before And After Photos!

Plastic surgery remains a hot button issue around the globe, though it's widely accepted in celebrity circles.

Should a person learn to love what they were born with or should they see their image as something that they can will and shape?

Can a person really be fulfilled by self-acceptance when our appearances are judged everyday in so many ways? That judgment, ridicule, and criticism is only exacerbated if you're pursuing a competitive and visual field like acting or singing.

When people make comments like, "You'd be beautiful if it weren't for that nose," it's not hard to see why someone would undergo drastic changes to quiet the noise.

I personally believe people should do whatever makes them happy. For me there's nothing better than people who are honest about their experiences with plastic surgery, like these 10 stars!

Each one of them is open about what they did and owns their decision. Nevertheless, some of them are courageous enough to admit that maybe they wouldn't do it again in retrospect.

There's never anything wrong with becoming the person you want to be. The less we stigmatize people's decisions to love themselves, whether that's with changing the outside or in, the happier we are all going to be.

Kudos to these celebs!

Heidi Montag underwent 10 surgeries in one day, including breast augmentation, face work, and a back scoop.

She told Us Weekly: “I’ve always been very insecure about my body. My whole life, I looked at my chest and was like, OK, they’re going to grow. This is my year! And it never happened. I was less than an A-cup. I wore pushup bras, which cut into my skin . . . I hated my nose too. I have my dad’s nose, which is huge. It took up so much of my face, when I looked down, I could see my nose. I couldn’t get away from it! Right before I went in, I was like, What if I don’t wake up? Oh, this is scary. Then I thought, I don’t care. If I don’t wake up, it’s worth it.”

In her memoir, Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin, the comedian wrote,“I was told repeatedly, ‘You would be pretty if it weren’t for that nose. You’d work more if it weren’t for that nose. Hey have you considered getting a nose job?’ You would think I had a nose the size of Texas. I was young and impressionable and I was told that enough that I started to believe it, so I got a nose job.”

The Dirty Dancing star said of her nose job,"I went in the operating room a celebrity — and came out anonymous." Unfortunately, after Grey's nose job she was unrecognizable, causing her career in Hollywood to dissolve at its peak.

Though we still praise her honesty, that's not an easy thing to admit!
