Flashback To This Unforgettable Performance From Céline Dion And Luciano Pavarotti

Céline Dion's Let's Talk About Love is one of the best-selling albums in history — it's sold over 30 million albums since its release in 1997.

Putting aside the inclusion of the hit single from Titanic, "My Heart Will Go On" (arguably one of the greatest songs ever recorded), the album is full of musical gems. Four of these are collaborations with other artists.

There's "Treat Her Like a Lady" featuring Diana King, "Immortality" with the Bee Gees, and "Tell Him," her duet with another legend, Barbra Streisand. There's also the unforgettable collaboration with the late, great Luciano Pavarotti on "I Hate You Then I Love You."

Below, the two performed the song during Pavarotti & Friends, a concert benefitting the Children of Liberia held in Italy in 1998. The moment, which took place nine years before the opera tenor's death in 2007, was simply incredible.

“Everything that has to do with children is very important, therefore I think we should all do something; for me it is just normal to take hand in hand and go meet the world,” Dion said at the time. “If we can do this through music, it’s just wonderful. That’s why to sing with Luciano Pavarotti tonight will be an incredible experience.”
