Céline Dion Breaks Down Into Tears As She Makes Her First Public Tribute To René

When the world heard the horrible news that Céline Dion's one true love had passed away, millions of people from all over sent out their sincerest sympathies and loving support.

The superstar singer has kept silent over the past few weeks, choosing to grieve with her family behind closed doors. And while the world's messages of love and support most certainly helped her a lot, it was her close friends and family members who truly helped her get through those horrible weeks.

For anyone who has ever felt the loss of a close loved one, the pain never truly goes away. They say that time heals all wounds, but for anyone lucky enough to have found their one true love, only to have lost them forever, there is a certain feeling of irreparable loss that even time can never truly numb.

So when the singer of "My Heart Will Go On," the famous song from the blockbuster hit Titanic, came onstage to say her first public address in regards to the late René Angélil, she could barely get a few words out before breaking down into tears and finishing her short speech.

At a special "Celebration of Life" gathering in Los Vegas, a huge amount of friends, business partners, and loved ones came to remember René and all of the lives he had touched. A lot of people had a lot to say about this man, who has helped and befriended so many over the years.

But perhaps it was his wife who said the most while using the least amount of words: "I love you… So much. Merci. Good night."

Please SHARE this touching tribute if you promise to keep Céline and her family, as well as the rest of the world, in your thoughts and prayers!
