They Put Cereal Between Two Super Strong Magnets. The Results? AWESOME!

Everybody knows that opposites attract, right? Well, in the case of magnets that fact couldn't be more true. Putting magnets with two opposite poles facing each other creates a magnetic field that makes them pull toward one another until they get stuck together. If you put the same poles facing each other, the magnets will repel the connection. It's basic magnetism that we all learn in elementary school. What would happen, however, if those magnets were of the large, super strong, neodymium variety? Well, depending on how big and strong they are, the magnets could exhibit some insanely strong attraction. So strong, in fact, that they could actually damage each other (and pretty much anything in their path). In this video, we get to watch as the folks behind first4magnets.com put that theory to the test when they take two super strong neodymium magnets, place everyday objects in between, and capture all the magic in super slow-motion video. It is, in a word, hypnotic. The video shows two men in lab coats testing out what happens to an apple, an iPhone, a plastic cup full of Rainbow Drops cereal (popular in Ireland and the UK), and a carton of juice. While all four items are pretty cool to watch, the highlight is easily the way the magnets make the colorful cup of cereal burst into the air. It's a really cool video, but remember that these magnets are incredibly strong and potentially dangerous so, as the disclaimer says, do not try this at home. Please SHARE!
