There's a local harbor in Howth, Ireland, right outside of Dublin, where visitors flock to witness one of the friendliest seals in the ocean.
His name is Charlie, and he can be spotted right off the docks waving to his fans — just as long as they have a bucket of fish in hand. Somewhere along the way, Charlie has figured out that if he waves to the people on the wharf, someone will eventually throw him a fish! He's become such a fixture on the harbor that people can now buy a bucket of fish to feed Charlie (and the other seals that gather nearby, of course).
While it's not uncommon to spot seals swimming throughout the coast of Ireland and the British Isles, having one wave to you is quite the sight!
