In case you haven't noticed, we're pretty big fans of talent competition shows here at LittleThings.
The show that started it all, American Idol, is sadly coming to a close after 14 years in 2016, but luckily protégés like The Voice are hotter than ever before. We've seen some pretty awesome performances from the U.S. version of the hit NBC show, like when this former back-up singer stunned with her performance of "Amazing Grace," but as you can see in this next video, the shows spin-offs from around the world have equally amazing artists.
After seeing this video from The Voice: Holland, I was convinced that our neighbors across the pond have some of the best singers on the planet and there's no denying that this next performer only adds to that argument. Meet Charly Luske, a 36-year-old singer from Amsterdam who made the The Voice judges go wild with only a few notes.
For his blind audition, the talented singer chose the James Brown classic "It's A Man's, Man's, Man's World" from 1966. We've seen this song chosen before for the big stage, but no one has ever come close to a reaction like this from the judges. It was clear after just a few seconds that he had that something special they were looking for…and once they saw him, they realized he wasn't too bad to look at, either!
