A Reddit user who works at a coffee shop was stunned when a customer left a note for the entire morning staff.
The customer was having a difficult time. She had just learned that her boyfriend had a secret wife. And it didn't simply end there — the wife was also pregnant. The customer had unwillingly becomes a mistress.
To make matters even worse, the two were coworkers. After finding out the truth, she had to work with him every day.
She stopped into her favorite coffee shop and couldn't help but vent to the employees there. Each worker treated her with kindness, listened to her woes, gave her a pep talk, and offered her a free coffee.
To pay them back, she wrote them a touching letter and gave them seed paper — paper that grows into plants — as a gift. See the kind exchange below.

A distraught woman walked into a coffee shop after discovering her boyfriend had a secret, pregnant wife. She couldn't believe how the staff treated her.

She wrote:
To the Tues. Sep 5th morning staff,
You all are too good for this world. Imagine finding out that your boyfriend has a massively pregnant wife that you know nothing about. Imagine getting zero hours of sleep because you know you have to work with him and see his stupid, cheating, lying stupid freaking face — all day.
You'd probably just want some coffee to get through that, right?

Now imagine going to your favorite coffee spot, ordering your favorite drink, having the team listen to your stupid problems, tell you that you’re sure as sh*t too good for f*ckboys like that, make sure that your drink is the best damn white coffee kicker you’ve ever had, then tell you it’s free.

I ugly cried the whole way to work. That was literally the most you have done for me and I am so grateful for your kindness.
I'm sorry I busted out in tears when you were nice to me. Please accept this seed paper as an apology and grow love with it.

The recognition the coffee shop employees received says it all.
"Wow, that's really special. I hope everything turns out alright for her. Whenever you perform an act of kindness, however small, you never know how much it might affect other people. Good on you and your coworkers," one Reddit user said.

Another user commented: "People just need to know they are heard and they matter. Whether it's your time or your coffee. It shows they matter to someone."

"You know, you can steel your heart against any kind of trouble, any kind of horror. But the simple act of kindness from a complete stranger will unstitch you," another wisely added.

The employee who helped the woman was so touched by her thank-you note that he shared it on social media.
