Prince's Purple Rain may not seem like a standard song choice for a teenager to perform during the biggest audition of her life. In fact, when she told the judges that's the song she'd chosen, they winced. It seemed like a disaster waiting to happen.
But then Chelsea Redfern opened her mouth and started singing. From the first lines, it was obvious this super-star in the making had a unique voice. But when she got to the chorus, I actually had chills running down my spine. This is going to be stuck in my head all day long now. The good news is I'm ok with that!
