Chick-fil-A Is Now Serving Cheese Sauce And People Are Obsessed With It

Chick-fil-A is now serving cheese sauce, and people are losing their minds.

The restaurant chain is beloved for its dipping sauces, especially its original special sauce. But the company recently introduced a cheese sauce, and people swear it's the best Chick-fil-A sauce yet, Delish reports.

The sauce has been rolled out at over 430 locations nationwide so far. It consists of a mix of two different cheeses. Although it was first offered on the menu back in 2012, it now seems to be picking up some momentum. Fans have called it "heavenly," "life-changing," and "the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Unfortunately, the cheese sauce isn't at every Chick-fil-A location quite yet. At the moment, the sauce is stocked across the Midwest and Northeast, as well as in certain restaurants in the South. The decision is apparently up to each individual restaurant owner, based on local demand. So, cheese lovers, time to make a few phone calls.

True Chick-fil-A fans know that the experience is all about the sauce. Now, for the first time in quite a while, the restaurant is rolling out a new sauce that's actually catching on.

Until now, the special sauce — aka "Chick-fil-A sauce" — has pretty much been the undisputed king of dipping sauces. Die-hards prefer it over the Polynesian, honey mustard, barbecue, buffalo, sriracha, and herb ranch sauces.

Buuut now there may be a new king of sauces in town!

It's a cheese sauce, and it's reportedly delicious.

People on Twitter who've been lucky enough to try the cheese sauce already have been raving about how good it is.

People have called it "heavenly" and "the best thing that's ever happened to me."

That's probably not an exaggeration.

"The sauce is made with a mix of Swiss and Parmesan cheeses and was first offered on the menu at participating locations in 2012," a Chick-fil-A rep told Delish.

The sauce has been rolled out at over 430 locations nationwide. It's not in every region yet, sadly.

"It is an optional condiment that restaurants can offer where there is demand for it," a rep told Today Food. "Its inclusion is a restaurant-level decision made by the individual operator."

With all the fuss over the new cheese sauce, people have been a bit frantic to get their hands on it at their local Chick-fil-As. Some have even taken to Twitter to let folks know whether it is or isn't at a particular location.

"The Dubuque Chick-fil-A has their new cheese sauce just so y'all know. You're welcome," one user wrote.

"No cheese sauce at this Chick-fil-A at LakePoint Station," another wrote.

At the moment, the cheese is reportedly stocked in Midwest and Northeast markets. It's also being tested at locations in the South.

The company has no plans to roll out the new sauce at every single Chick-fil-A in the country… yet.

With the way that people are reacting to this cheese, though, it might be only a matter of time before it becomes a new Chick-fil-A staple.

The chain also offers other regional specialties, like guacamole in California.

One user was hunting down the cheese sauce but discovered another upcoming offering: spicy chicken strips and nuggets. Ooooh boy.
