Kids never cease to amaze me with their creativity, kindness, and bravery.
Whether they're using their creative talents (like this young girl who shocked the judges of The Voice Kids), or are among the countless children who inspire us everyday with their strength and courage, kids help us remember the spark of magic we have inside all of us.
And Iris Grace Halmshaw? Well, be prepared to be completely shocked by this tiny-human's huge talents!
At only six-years-old, she's creating a huge stir in the art world. Before the age of four, her paintings were already selling for over two thousand dollars. What's even more inspiring is that Iris also suffers from autism, diagnosed only a few years after she was born.
Though Iris is unable to speak and is often overwhelmed by the presence of other children, she finds ultimate expression though her painting, which provides her with a sense total peace and tranquility.

After Iris’ mother, Arabella, put her first painting on Facebook, the response was overwhelming. The post went viral and before she knew it, friends were clamoring for the then four-year-old’s pictures. The one below is titled Music At Sunrise.

Iris enjoys creating right at home, like in her kitchen studio, surrounded by her supplies and tons of books for inspiration.

Sunny Day — the colors are so ethereal and soothing...and to date, over 4 million people have visited Iris' website.

Her mother puts out cups of paint and water while Iris does the rest!

Blue Water — it's amazing how she captures the evocative nature of water. So many people around the world have been inspired by her work; she's sold to private art dealers everywhere from the U.K. to Asia and beyond.

A candid shot of Iris "in her element," painting. Iris' mom describes her daughter as "delightful, funny, intelligent, and crafty."

Patience — Iris' mother continues sharing what sparks her daughter's creativity, "she loves nature, books, and dancing on her tip-toes." Iris also loves her special friend, Thula, her pet cat.

Separation — Iris' work is currently on display across the world as both her and her mother fight to raise awareness for autism.

Sun Dancing — her mother shares, "Iris has an incredible concentration span, creating a style of painting of which I've never seen in a child her age. She has a [deep] understanding of colors and how they interact with one other."

Explosions of Color — the title here really says it all: a true visual masterpiece.
