Some habits are hard to break, no matter how silly or pointless you know they are. There are some childhood behaviors that will just stick with you for the rest of your life.
I still sleep with a light on because I'm afraid of the dark, and I don't think I'll ever be able to grow out of it. I know it's silly, but it's just a thing I do!
