Most people would agree that chocolate is one of the most incredible sweet treats out there.
As a result, chocolate-lovers have come up with many different and delicious ways to use it, like with these edible chocolate balloon bowls. But when I saw what one company in Japan was selling, I truly couldn't believe it.
The brilliant minds at Bourbon have found a spectacular way to easily include chocolate in nearly any meal. Served in individually wrapped slices, these sweet squares look just like regular slices of cheese, except that they are made of chocolate.

While the Japanese company Bourbon makes a wide variety of delicious treats, their individually wrapped chocolate slices have been making quite a splash as of late.
This brilliant idea is so incredible that it has many wondering why these aren't already in stores everywhere.
Sliced chocolate isn't an entirely new phenomenon, since the Danish have their own version called Pålægschokolade.
However, unlike the soft, bendable slices from Bourbon, the Danish version is quite stiff.
A slice of this Japanese chocolate looks eerily similar to a slice of American cheese, especially when placed on bread.
But this grilled chocolate sandwich probably falls much more into the dessert category than into the lunch category of dishes!
Much beyond sandwiches, these delicious slices are a great way to sweeten up a variety of meals, like fruit-topped pancakes.
Similar to cheese, this chocolate melts quite easily, making it the perfect topping for a large number of breakfast dishes.
Bourbon even suggests placing slices inside of foods, like these fruit-and-chocolate crepes.
And for anyone with a more artistic mind, it is very easy to create simple shapes out of the chocolate slices.
Using little cookie cutters or a small pairing knife, you can easily transform a simple snack into something fun and festive.
And their bendable quality makes them perfect for rolling inside or on the outside of sweet treats. So many of these ideas are great as gifts or for serving at parties!
Creating chocolate-covered fruit has probably never been easier than by simply wrapping a slice around a strawberry or kiwi.
The possibilities really do seem endless when it comes to these unique chocolate slices.
I'm sure any chocolate-lover would agree that these are a must-have treat. Now how do we get our hands on these?
