We've seen some pretty incredible talent show auditions before, but none quite as spine-tingling as this one.
When a man walked on-stage with two other singers, Simon wasn't expecting much. But his jaw dropped when nearly two hundred more singers emerged before his eyes.
The "Britain's Got Talent" judges were hypnotized by Welsh choir Ysgol Glanaethwy and their hauntingly beautiful performance of "Benedictus." The 162-member choir from Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy, were one of the stand out acts as the auditions for the live finals got underway. After the performance, all four judges were on their feet as the crowd roared.
David feels like he's been transported to heaven, and Simon — the harshest judge of all — said he thinks he may be looking at this year's winners! After their performance, one of the choir members said, “It is where anyone who believes in themselves can come together and make new friends. We really like it. We are like a whole big family who loves singing.”
Cefin, who kicked off the performance, founded Ysgol Glanaethwy with his wife Rhian in 1990.
