Advancements in technology have made people's lives easier. We can connect with anyone from anywhere in the world and can access information at the press of a button. But technology also has its drawbacks, as people lean toward engaging with their cell phones more instead of with the world around them.
Personal care product brand Cinthol is hoping to change that. In their latest ad, titled Alive Is Offline, they want to teach people to put down their phones and start paying attention to all the wonders of the world around them.
"Welcome to a world without buffering. Where you hear a tweet instead of reading one. Where you live a moment and not scroll through it," the ad's description reads.
In the video below, a man is seen exploring the world around him. With no cell phone, he's seen making new friends and enjoying a gorgeous waterfall. Instead of taking out his phone to capture every moment and post it on social media, he's finally able to take in his adventures and really experience life to the fullest.
The end of the video drives home an important message: "The world is more beautiful than the world wide web."
