Collin Gosselin sprang to fame when his father and mother signed up for the reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8. Collin was part of a group of sextuplets born to Jon and Kate.
The Gosselin family fell apart over the years, and Kate later admitted to sending Collin to a facility due to his "behavioral problem" at the age of 13. Recently Collin opened up about the experience to ET Online. In the new interview, he revealed he was at the facility from the ages of 12 to 14 before his father was awarded full custody.
Collin revealed he no longer speaks to his mother at all. He said, "After being there, I didn’t have a relationship with her. Even before [being] there, I don’t think we had much of a relationship and I think that just kept tearing it even more down."
Collin attributed the fracture of his family to their time on reality TV, noting, "I came to the conclusion that everybody has their own agenda, you know? My mom had her own agenda, and I don’t know exactly what that was. But I was put in a tough spot and my agenda was to make it out on top of that tough spot."
Collin also said that he hopes to reconnect with his mother. He explained, "It’s unfortunate that we didn’t have a relationship. I think every son wants to have a relationship with their mom. But I’m doing very well."
