They say that every single person has a special "guardian angel" out there in the world, and after watching this heart-stopping video, just about everyone will have to agree that they just have to exist!
It seemed like a whole office of people was packed to peer out of their window to watch a neighboring building under construction quickly burning to a crisp. The distant sirens from fire trucks began to blare, when suddenly, one woman noticed something strange — it quickly became apparent that they weren't going to get there in time.
The five-alarm fire was burning the whole construction site to the ground. While at first it seemed like everyone had gotten away safely, shockingly, there was one man trapped inside. At that moment, the woman in the office building realized she had to capture this incredible rescue on film. Curtis Reissig was surrounded by flames, and he realized he had to run to the balcony to get some fresh air.
Wind gusts were spreading the flames quickly, and it became quite apparent that Reissig was going to die in a matter of minutes. The fire department had arrived, but it would still take a minute or two to get the ladder up there to save him. He didn't have a minute or two: He had to jump.
He hung off the balcony, gave himself one quick swing of the feet, and landed on the balcony below. The people in the office were terrified, but at the last possible second, the fireman finally arrived and saved him — just in the knick of time!
So for anyone who doesn't believe in guardian angels, you might want to watch this heart-stopping video, because this construction worker certainly has someone on his side!
