When America's Got Talent became a hit on U.S. television, other nations started to follow suit by creating their own version of the show. After all, the United States isn't the only nation with talented individuals, but this country's talent pool is sometimes very different in nature than the ones abroad. Just check out Georgia's Got Talent's Gennady, who wowed the audience and the judges with his vocal talent!
Now, on Switzerland's Got Talent, an artist is making waves on the internet not just because of her incredible skill, but because of how the judges reacted. Corinne Sutter is a Swiss artist who draws portraits in caricature form. For her audition, she started to draw a portrait of one of the judges, Gilbert Gress, under time pressure. Sutter only had a few seconds to captivate the judges, but one by one, they hit the red button, denying her safe passage to the next round.
But the artist kept on going, even when all four judges voted her off the stage and out of the competition. Just seconds before she finished the portrait, she flipped it upside down, and blew a powder on top.
And then everyone saw it: The final piece was an intricate caricature of another one of the judges, Bligg Zusammen! The final product had everyone in awe, and they gave her a standing ovation!
Sutter moved on to the next round, finally getting the go-ahead from three out of the four judges.
