Life doesn't always go as planned… and sometimes, that's a good thing. Amber and her husband had no intention of having more children, so when the couple found out they were expecting a baby, it came as a big surprise. But there was more news in store…
Not only were they having another baby, but Amber was pregnant with identical spontaneous triplets. And not only were the babies unplanned, but they were conceived 100% naturally. When Amber went in for her ultrasound, the doctors discovered something else: Amber had a Monochorionic Diamniotic pregnancy, meaning one embryo split into two, followed by another embryo splitting in two. Two of Amber's babies shared one sac; her doctors had never seen anything like it before. This is truly a one-in-a-million birth!
Amber underwent an emergency C-section at 29 weeks before successfully delivering Sharlet (Baby A), Sydnea (Baby B), and Savana (Baby C). After spending 68 days in the NICU, all three triplets went home together on the same day, which is also a stunning rarity when it comes to multiples.
Though the triplets weren't planned, Amber and her husband couldn't be more grateful for their growing family. Meet these precious miracle babies below, and please SHARE this wonderful story with your friends on Facebook!
