For teachers, there are so many red flags to look out for in the classroom — from a fight between two kids that is about to break out, to a student having an allergic reaction and requiring medical attention.
It always helps when the adult is passionate about enriching the lives in his or her classroom each and every day, no matter what obstacle comes their way. Take this teacher, for example, who notices that their quadruplet students are always hungry — and decides to take action.
Although it's great when the schooling is done without hassle, tough love is sometimes necessary in order to teach children right from wrong at a young age. After all, children pick up more in school than what is written on chalkboards.
This especially applies to an act that will most likely catch up to them in life — cheating in school.
We've gathered 12 bizarre — and some might even say, clever — ways students have tried to cheat on tests. Maybe knowing what to look for will help teachers catch the problem right away!

1. Rolling Labels Inside Of Pens

You know those see-through pens that show the spring in the middle? You definitely want to watch out for coded messages in there.
2. Writing On The Sticky Part Of Water Bottle Labels

This is a similar concept to the trick above, but uses a water bottle's sticky label instead — sneaky, sneaky.
3. Leaving Backpacks Open With Notes In Plain Sight

See the backpack right at the feet of your student, innocently opened? Zip that thing right back up!
4. Leaving One Hand Free By Stuffing The Sleeve
While taking a test, students have stuffed a shirt sleeve with another shirt to make it look like both hands are resting on the desk. But in reality, they have one hand free that they can sneak down their shirt to go on their phone.
5. Using A Stunt Double

Although twins are likely to do this more than others, it's always good to do roll call and double-check that the right faces are in the right seats — especially in large classrooms.
6. Pretending The Cheat Sheet Is Simply Scratch Paper

Some kids come into class with scratch paper that, well, isn't necessarily scratch. They try to use an already filled out piece of paper when extra paper is allowed.
7. Writing Answers On The Nails

This one takes time, but where there's a will to cheat, there's definitely a way.
8. Stuffing Note Cards In Shirt Sleeves

This one is pretty self-explanatory, but just keep a look out for white pieces of paper poking out of clothing.
9. Writing Answers Under Bandages

Although it's impossible to tell if there's a scar hiding under his or her bandage, keep a close eye out if they are constantly checking it. An injury might not be the only thing under there!
10. Concealing The Phone Inside A Calculator

If the test requires a scientific calculator, make sure you do a walk by and double-check the screen. It might not be showing the usual calculations that you would expect!
11. Checking The Watch — Way Too Often

With all the new technology out there, cheating is easier than ever before — especially thanks to high-tech watches. If you notice a student checking their watch more aggressively than usual, make sure they're checking out the time, not the internet.
12. Scribbling On Rubber Bands

When you write words on a stretched out rubber band, all you can see are dark shapes when you release it. So rubber bands on wrists might be more than a fashion statement — if you would even call it that.
