She Pours Cream Over Nutmeg, But She Doesn’t Drink It. The Reason Is Brilliant!

Sometimes I absolutely hate my skin. Some days it's oily and acne-ridden; others it's cracked and dry. There seems to be no pleasing my finicky complexion, no matter how hard I try.

To rid yourself of blackheads for a fraction of the price, look no further than your spice rack! Nutmeg is an all-natural and fragrant exfoliator, so sprinkle a good amount in a mug or bowl.

Next, pour in some buttermilk. The lactic acid in buttermilk helps break down old skin cells and will leave your face fresh and clear. (Note: the video tutorial shows half-&-half, but truly, it's buttermilk that does the trick.)

Mix the buttermilk and nutmeg, then rinse your face. Make sure you've removed your makeup from the day.

Tie back your hair, then scrub your face with the mixture. Be sure to focus on blackheads' favorite areas, like your nose, chin, and forehead. Don't forget your jawline! Rinse well, and repeat every couple of weeks.
