Newborn babies can be quite fussy.
They've been removed from their mommy's womb, the place they've called home for almost a year, into a world that doesn't quite feel the same on the skin.
Dependent on Mommy and Daddy deciphering their every want or need at exactly the right moment, babies cry to communicate with us.
According to ScienceDaily, "Crying is a baby's principal means of communicating its negative emotions and in the majority of cases the only way they have to express them."
Sometimes we simply can't understand them. Normally, I would try swaddling them or give them a "magical womb bath."
What this dad did instead? Hilarious and effective!
When this daddy's newborn wouldn't stop crying he used the so-called "force" to get her quiet!
Yes, you heard me correctly, dad is taking parenting tips from Stars Wars, which is pretty ironic since the story is about one of the worst dads ever! (I'm looking at you, Darth Vader.)
What does he mean by the force? You'll have to watch the video to see.
I'm pretty sure you're going to want to try this technique on one of your newborns. I honestly can't believe it worked!
There's no way I would have imagined the baby wanted this.
SHARE if you think this is brilliant!
