As a kid, I loved going to the zoo. And I'm glad to say that as an adult, this pleasure hasn't changed! My dream was to be able to interact with the animals of my favorite exhibits, like the orangutans and the big cats. This isn't unheard of, and many zoo visitors experience some pretty profound moments with these creatures. Check out the breastfeeding mom who has a special interaction with a mother orangutan! But the animals seem to prefer to play with children, like this funny beluga whale, or this concerned sea lion. I'm still waiting for the day I can say I entertained a wild animal!
But this is perhaps one of the most extraordinary moments between a human and a ferocious creature caught on camera. And the best part is that this tiny human is completely oblivious to what is going on around him! The little baby is placed on the floor by mom, in front of the lion exhibit. The glass is right behind him, and you can see a lioness prowling on the other side. This would have totally freaked me out, but the baby is as cool as a cucumber!
