‘Curly Sue’ Actress Blows ‘The Voice’ Judges Away For The Second Time

Alisan Porter (aka Curly Sue) blew the judges away once again when she took the stage for the battle rounds on season 10 of The Voice.

The singer, who made all four judges turn around during her blind audition, performed The Mamas and the Papas' 1966 hit "California Dreamin'" against another talented contestant, 18-year-old Lacy Mandigo.

Their coach, Christina Aguilera, was clearly amused as she watched the ladies belt out the lyrics. They really brought the competition with both of them holding some memorable and impressive notes.

While all the coaches praised both singers for their efforts, all four seemed to agree that Porter was the winner of that specific battle. Pharrell Williams called her a "thunderstorm," while Adam Levine added that she was more "ready" than Mandigo. Aguilera, who said she was "really moved" by both of them, ended up choosing Porter, as well.

But, just like the two men from Team Christina who previously performed against each other, this battle round also ended in a steal: Blake Shelton pressed his red button for the teen.

"I am so thankful that Blake scooped in like a big old papa bear and took Lacey under his wing," Aguilera said.
