Whataburger Customers Show Kindness To Deaf Cashier

With the state of the world today, it's not always easy to see the best in people. There's a certain distrust that comes from such a constant stream of bad news that seems to be springing from every corner of the world.

That's why it's always so wonderful to hear the good news that doesn't always make it onto our TV screens or into our newspapers.

News like these Target workers helping a young man prepare for his first job interview or this teen boy who spends his Walmart paycheck donating school supplies to kids in need. There's still a lot of good in the world, even when it isn't being covered by the big news outlets!

For deaf Whataburger cashier Taylor Pope, it isn't always easy to handle customers looking to place an order. So when he found himself the sole cashier late one night, the line began to grow longer and longer.

While the crowd of hungry customers could've easily let their growling stomachs get the best of them, they did something amazing instead. They remained patient and kind.

When Pope wasn't able to read a customer's lips to take an order, the guest would simply write down his order and move along.

No complaints, no annoyed looks, just a huge show of compassion for someone just trying to do his job.
