I Thought It Was A Baby Bunny. But When It Turned Around, I Gasped!

Ah, springtime. A beautiful season colored with sweet pastels, flower blossoms, frilly sundresses, and…fluffy hamsters? Well, not usually, but after watching this adorable video, I'm going to associate spring with these cute little critters from now on!

Around Valentine's Day, we brought you along on a lonely hamster's romantic date. Now, we bring you two sweet hamsters, Dumptruck and Porkchop, who are looking to have some Easter-themed fun. And with only three days until spring, I think this colorful video is the perfect cure for those late-winter blues!

Because of their creative videos — like this one featuring a hamster-sized playground — Dumptruck and Porkchop are now international celebrities! And these hamster sisters seem to be loving it!

But, interestingly enough, hamsters weren't always domestic pets or viral internet stars. Although it's hard to imagine, Dumptruck and Porkchop's ancestors were once wild, freely roaming the countryside of Asia and Russia. In the wild, hamsters are omnivores — meaning they eat vegetation and meat. Tough to picture these little little fluff balls as ferocious hunters, huh? Especially after watching this adorable video!

However, as amazing as the video is, there was one thing I didn't enjoy about it — and that was how badly it made me want to buy a hamster. I might have to stop by the pet store this weekend… I
