90-Year-Old Grandma Spends Her Free Time Hand-Painting Neighbors’ Homes With Gorgeous Flowers

For the most part, we spend our lives hoping for and working toward the day in the future where we can retire and spend time doing the things we love — or, at the very least, not have to work for a living.

Some people enjoy their retirement by doing things like aqua aerobics while others decide to travel the world or explore lifelong passions like craft brewing.

The most important thing you can do later in life is relax and enjoy yourself. Without anything pressing to do, it's a great time to pick up a new hobby you've always wanted to try.

According to My Modern Met, one Czech grandma has discovered her love of traditional Moravian painting on the white houses in her village.

If the whole thing sounds picturesque, it's because it most certainly is. Check out her creations below — they will make you want to book a trip to the Czech Republic.

Meet Anežka, or Agnes Kašpárková, the 90-year-old grandma who spent most of her life as an agricultural worker.

These days, you won't find her spending much time working on a farm.

Agnes lives in the small Czech village of Louka, which isn't too far from the Slovakian border.

This is the South Moravian region of the country, and her paintings reflect traditional, local style.

Amazingly, Agnes does not plan her creations. Rather, she just uses her imagination as she goes, according to My Modern Met.

Agnes isn't the first woman to take on the task of beautifying the village of Louka. In fact, it is a skill that Agnes learned from women before her who did the same.

Agnes has been painting the beautiful blue flowers all over her village for over 13 years now, according to Slavorum. Her work certainly proves that practice does make perfect.

The grandma enjoys touching up the paintings every year, and always uses the same bright blue, which pops perfectly on the white houses.

She tells Slavorum, " The color looks very expensive and good quality."

The bright color should last for around two years, but Agnes is more than happy to paint over any faded sections.

As you can clearly see, painting the houses is something that keeps Agnes young and helps her to express her creative side.

She explains, "I like flowers grow," which means she's definitely having fun in the process.

At 90, Agnes might be a little too old for travel, but her creations would be a beautiful addition to any home anywhere in the world.

Of course, her artistry and longevity are an inspiration to all of us.
