A woman didn't know what to wear to a Beyoncé concert, but luckily, her dad, who learned to sew when he was 3 years old, was able to help. Geselle Valera, 27, didn't plan her outfit in advance. She considered wearing silver but instead took inspiration from a David Koma dress worn by Beyoncé.
She ordered two dresses on Amazon for $30, according to Today, then her dad transformed the pieces into an amazing Beyoncé-inspired dress.
When thinking about what to wear, Geselle's sister said she could ask their dad. It wouldn't be the first time that he helped with an outfit at the last minute. "I knew he wouldn't say no," Geselle said. Her dad is a 63-year-old tailor from the Dominican Republic. Geselle's dad told Today that fashion is his "calling." "I've lived off fashion, fabric and trends my whole life," he said.
It only took about 30 minutes for Geselle's dad to turn the Amazon garments into the perfect dress for the concert. Geselle and her dad were both proud, and Geselle's friends loved the dress. One friend even asked Geselle's dad to make another dress just like it. "I felt so proud wearing the outfit because most people at the concert were in silver and [my dress] was one many hadn’t thought to re-create yet," Geselle told Today.

Geselle filmed the process and posted a video of it on Instagram.
Many Instagram users were impressed, with one person writing, "That’s talent, I can barely put my daughters hair in a pony tail and he out here making designer outfits lol. Respect."
One person called Geselle's dad "a real girl dad," and another asked if he's looking for another daughter.
