Dancers Pay Tribute To Two Fallen Firefighters With Stunning Performance

Dance is a powerful form of art. Without saying a single word, a dance can tell an entire story. The story can express joy, sorrow, pain, or relief — just about any emotion can be conveyed through dance.

Because dance is such an expressive form of art, many have taken to using it as a way to pay tribute to their lost loved ones. Just last year, Bindi Irwin paid tribute to her late father while performing on Dancing With The Stars and had the entire audience in tears. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.

Dancers from Melroe's School of Dance in Kansas performed a tribute to two fallen firefighters, John Mesh and Larry Leggio. The performance is a very emotional one because Leggio's niece, Marissa, is the lead performer in the dance.

The tribute centers around Leggio's jacket and helmet, which are on the stage with the girls during the dance. When Marissa wraps herself up in his coat at the end of the performance, her reaction is truly gut-wrenching. You can see their beautiful dance in the video below!
