For young athletes learning the ropes of their sport, a dedicated coach is essential. That means not only teaching them the discipline of a game, but how to have the right attitude while they play.
The big guy in the video below definitely takes care of both of those roles for the little players on his pee-wee football team. While at a recent practice, one of the team member's moms just happened to catch the burly Jermaine Cooper busting a move out on the field.
With hip-hop music pumping over the speakers to keep the boys hyped up during the scrimmage, Cooper starts by just shimmying a bit before his fellow coaches egg him on to go all out from the sidelines.
Joi Hill had her camera rolling at just the right time to capture his silly antics while the teammates simply stand around and seem pretty darn confused by the strange sight. Either this is Cooper's first time grooving around during practice, or these kids are brand new to the team!
Or perhaps they're just so used to his wacky ways that it really doesn't faze them anymore. Whatever the reason, I'm just glad to know they have such a fun-loving coach making sure they know that it's important to have fun on the field.
After all, win or lose, it's about being able to look at your teammates and know you all gave it your all without losing your cool.
