Dannielynn Birkhead, daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith, stepped out with her dad, Larry Birkhead, to enjoy the 2023 Kentucky Derby. During the Barnstable Brown Gala that took place ahead of the Derby, the 16-year-old wore a blouse with photographs of her mom. Larry wore a tie featuring the same images. The pictures were from Anna's famous Guess campaign during the early '90s.
"She's showing off her fashion sense but at the same time paying tribute to her mom," Larry shared. He went on to share that they decided to pay tribute because it's the 20th anniversary of the day that he met Anna Nicole back in 2003 at the Barnstable Brown Gala. At the time, he was a photographer covering the event.
The two also attended the 149th Kentucky Derby on Saturday. Their tribute continued, as Dannielynn wore a sunflower-print dress that she paired with a crystal necklace and bracelet that belonged to her mom.

According to Larry, his daughter occasionally goes through her mom's old clothes that he's kept in storage.
"And everything she has of her mom's is cataloged in storage, with photos of the event where she wore it," he said. "So someday, she can give them to her kids if she wants to."
