On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, That '70s Show actor Danny Masterson was convicted of raping two women. A third charge resulted in a hung jury. When Danny’s conviction was read, his wife Bijou Phillips let out a primal wail.
A source close to the couple opened up to People magazine about Bijou’s state of mind throughout this difficult time. According to the unnamed source, Bijou was shocked Danny was convicted but will not leave him because of it. The pair share a daughter named Fianna.
“She wasn’t prepared for the verdict,” the source reveals. “She never expected him to be found guilty. She couldn’t believe that he was taken into custody right away and remanded.”
The source described Bijou’s emotions to the verdict as being “shocked and devastated.” Bijou and Danny have been married since 2011. She is anxious about what’s to come and “is terrified about the sentencing.”
