Two professionals from the vertical dance group Bandaloop had a zero-gravity dance party that will truly took the art form to new heights
Amelia Rudolph and Roel Seeber strapped on harnesses and were tethered to the outside of Oakland City Hall in California, where they did the Waltz for Oakland's 2014 Art + Soul festival. The death-defying dance was caught on GoPro cameras, which captured some visually stunning first-person footage.
Dance usually isn't such an extreme sport, so if you're wondering why they chose this risky stunt to show off their moves, they'll say it's all about the rush. "They say what we do is death-defying. I’d say it’s life-affirming," Rudolph, who is also Bandaloop's founder and artistic director, wrote on the troupe's website.
