In a hilarious episode of Little House on the Prairie, Laura Ingalls and Nellie Oleson are vying for the attention of dreamy Almanzo Wilder, and date night turns into a disaster — with the help of the mischievous Laura of course!
It all starts with the conniving Harriet Oleson who tries to help her daughter, Nellie, win over Almanzo by asking him what his favorite meal is. When he says, Cinnamon Chicken, she says that happens to be Nellie’s “specialty!”
When Laura’s mother doesn’t have time to make the dish, Harriet whines and says she doesn’t know how to make it. Laura happily volunteers to cook the meal, but is instructed by Nellie to stay put in the kitchen so it looks like she cooked the meal. Sneaky and clever Laura uses cayenne pepper to spice it up! Wait until you see Nellie and Almanzo’s reaction to the meal… what a date night disaster! Way to sabotage the meal, Laura!
