Dave Grohl Invites A Crying Fan On Stage

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl shared a heartwarming moment with a fan during a show at the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Colorado.

The rock group was singing an acoustic rendition of its 1990s hit “My Hero” when Grohl saw a crying fan in the audience. He immediately pointed him out and told him, "I love you, man."

Grohl took it one step further and invited the fan named Anthony on stage to finish the song along with him.

"I want some real tears, you better sing it with me," Grohl told the fan. "Don’t make me cry, because I promised I wouldn’t do this.”

We've seen musicians sing with fans before – Keith Urban and his 11-year-old fan is a notable example – but nothing compares to a moment as spontaneous as this. (It's just as incredible as the time Ed Sheeran joined a fan for an unexpected duet at a Canadian mall!)

Of course Grohl's fan quickly accepted the invitation and the two shared a microphone to belt the chorus. Before the fan got off the stage, Grohl even gave Anthony a massive hug.
