Meet Debbie Jones. She's a wife, a mom, a friend and most importantly, she's a fighter.
A little over three years ago, Debbie was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer, and it's been a very difficult journey for her and her family ever since. However, Debbie's strength and positive outlook have never wavered. At 54 years old, Debbie has been through a radical hysterectomy, countless rounds of chemotherapy, an allergic reaction to chemo, and painful lung draining. It hasn't been fun, but Debbie's loved ones say she never complains. She's been a true inspiration to her family and especially her two best friends, Lisa and Sasha, who decided to shave their heads (just like this brave little boy did) to support their brave lifelong friend.
Debbie recently made a very difficult phone call to Lisa and Sasha. She told her best friends that she wanted them to look after her family when she passes. They also got out of her that she has always wanted to visit Uluru, a national park in Australia. The girls decided they wouldn't let Debbie give up just yet and made a call to Kyle and Jackie-O, the Australian radio hosts who recently gave this grieving mother the surprise of a lifetime.
What came next made me break down in tears. This was such a wonderful surprise for the most deserving woman!
