In the animal kingdom, there is nothing more amazing than two unlikely species becoming the best of friends. In this video filmed at the St. Augustine Wild Reserve, a white-tailed deer has started a budding friendship with a Siberian lynx!
According to the animal reserve's website, the lynx stays in an enclosed habitat, while the deer is allowed to roam freely. But when the animal handlers take the lynx out for a walk, the deer always runs up to her. The video shows the deer licking and grooming the cat's face. They seem to really adore one another. Aww!
