Michelle Midwinter is definitely going to think twice about ordering food after she had an exceptionally weird experience on January 13, 2018.
She and her friend ordered food using a popular U.K. delivery service. When the food arrived, the delivery guy seemed strange, and he wasn't polite or friendly to Michelle. She didn't think too much about it, and she and her friend started eating their food.
Later in the evening, Michelle got a message from a number she didn't recognize. Eventually, the mystery number revealed that he was the man who delivered the food.
Michelle was dumbfounded that the driver would dare to send her creepy messages, so she wrote about it on Facebook. People were outraged at what happened, so Michelle decided to send a message about what happened to the delivery company.
When they responded, she couldn't believe the way they brushed off her complaint.
She shared the whole story again on Twitter, and her tweet immediately got a ton of attention.

On January 15, Michelle tweeted about what happened.
She included screenshots of the messages the delivery guy sent her and the response she got from the company.
In just a day, Michelle's tweet had gotten so much attention that she decided she needed to write her own press release.
To date, the post has over 11,300 retweets and almost 27,000 likes.
The press release Michelle shared told her account of what happened. She explained:
I answered the door in what I thought was a pretty quick time, but upon opening the door the delivery driver was not friendly, or polite.
He just looked at me and slowly handed me the food. I thought it was a bit odd, and commented to my friend that he seemed angry as if I'd kept him there waiting a long time.
There was absolutely no problem with the order and I was very happy. That was until I received a WhatsApp message saying “Hy” from a number I didn’t recognise.
I asked who it was and the person revealed that they had just delivered my food. At first I was shocked at the fact someone could approach me in that way, but that turned to feeling very uncomfortable as I realised the guy had my name, address, and phone number.
Next, Michelle explained that when she contacted the company, they offered her £5 for the "inconvenience."
When Michelle said that the tiny amount of money was insulting and that they weren't taking her complaint seriously, they doubled the offer to £10.
Michelle was not amused. This is why she decided to tweet about the issue.
Later, the company reached out to Michelle to apologize for the way they handled the situation.
Some people responded to Michelle's tweets with their own stories.
One person said a driver even returned to their house to see a woman who lived there.
Other people were just baffled by the entire situation.
"This is appalling," one woman said.
What would you do if this happened to you? Would you respond similarly to Michelle?
