Man Puts On Goggles To Experience Dementia And Alzheimer’s Symptoms

This shocking video just goes to show the heartbreaking changes that dementia and Alzheimer's can really have on our beloved friends and family.

The video is a simple news report, but when you watch it, you'll easily understand why so many people are being left utterly changed by it. The reporter in the video seems calm, cool, and collected; he seems totally confident in what he can and can't do. And when the scientists asks him if he's feeling relaxed, he calmly answers, "yes."

That's when everything suddenly changes, the man puts on special shoes that change his gait, gloves that are meant to make him feel odd and confused, headphones to block out the noise of the outside world, and goggles to make him hyper-focused on only one thing at a time.

They ask him to do some simple tasks, but by the end of the video he's left pacing, talking to himself, and unable to complete anything at all. Not a lot of people understand the horrible effects that this disease can have, and how clear thoughts can only come in sporadically at times, like the great grandmother who could only really function while being sung music.

He's left visibly shaken by the end, and he freely admits how much this has changed his views on these horrible diseases. This video should be shared with everyone in America, for too long people's responses to dementia and Alzheimer's have been heartbreakingly uncaring.

With the number of these cases possibly tripling by 2050, everyone should be more empathetic to the human beings who suffer from these afflictions until that wonderful day when we finally understand how to defeat it once and for all!

Please SHARE this video if you think we should all raise awareness of these horrible diseases!
