It Looks Like A Piece Of Trash In The Sand, But It’s A Relic From A 1970s Masterpiece!

I have a hunch that, in the distant future, archaeologists are going to be very confused by some of the relics we'll have left behind (namely Slinkies and plastic flamingos) — but some of the biggest puzzles are going to be mysterious locations like these! Of course, we all recognize these sites as stunning remnants of famous movies. But it's hard to believe that such detailed, realistic, and painstakingly accurate sets could be abandoned after filming wrapped — especially those of beloved places, like the sandy Tatooine of Star Wars. Luckily, most of the sets have been maintained by locals, and some — like the lush green village of The Lord of the Rings' Hobbiton — have even been opened to the public for tours! And for some monumental blockbusters, the enormous sets were later reused for sequels, as in the case of Gotham City for Batman and Batman Returns. Good thing they didn't dismantle it. I would love to visit each of this incredible sets. Which is your favorite? Please SHARE if you think enjoyed touring these deserted sets of blockbusters gone-by!
