Diner Walks Out With Porterhouse Steak, So Restaurant Blasts Him Online As Payback

The staff at House of Beef in Oakdale, California, is always willing to help those less fortunate. If ever a hungry or homeless person should come in off the streets, they're more than happy to offer some food at no charge.

That's not at all what happened on a random Tuesday afternoon, when an unnamed man wearing a suit walked into the House of Beef and asked for a table for four.

The staff says this man looked and carried himself like a used car salesman — or like the bad guy from an '80s movie. He sat down and ordered a $56 meal, including a large porterhouse steak, lobster tail, and 20-ounce beer.

The diner had shifty eyes and exhibited strange, sudden movements, looking up at the camera and over his shoulder as if he was making sure no one was watching.

Suddenly, the man picked up his steak and watched the juice drip off onto the table. He looked back up at the security camera, then placed the steak into the linen napkin he swiped from the bread basket … and slipped the hunk of meat into his pocket!
