It's no secret that both Disney and Star Wars have made a lasting and meaningful impression on generations of kids and adults alike.
And with the newest installment, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, people are finding all new ways to explore this beloved space opera.
But one group of cosplayers (that is, people who dress up as their favorite fictional characters) decided tho create a fun and fantastic cross-over like none other!
They asked themselves what Disney Princesses might wear if they decided to hang up their gowns and put on some Mandalorian armor, a la Boba Fett… And the answer was magical!
Because after all, everyone wants to be a princess sometimes — and not just girls, as this little boy demonstrates — but everyone also wants to be a formidable space traveler with armor and a laser gun!
Check out these incredible mash-up costumes where fairy tale meets space opera. Maybe it will inspire a mash-up costume of your own!

The photographer, who goes by York In A Box on Facebook, snapped these awesome photos of various cosplayers with their Disney-fied versions of Star Wars character Boba Fett's iconic armor.
Here Hendo Art takes on the role of Pocahontas, complete with a crossbow in place of the traditional blaster.
PandaCat Cosplay joined in as "Aurora Fett," after the Sleeping Beauty star. She even paid homage to Aurora's color-changing gown!
Let's just hope there are no spindles in space.
Naturally, Anna from Frozen got in on the action, complete with some adorable mittens. Space is cold, after all!
This cosplayer is LifeofShel, who also turned Anna into Han Solo, which is worth checking out, too!
And Ashlynne Dae joined her as everyone's favorite snow queen, Elsa. We assume she's packing some kind of frost beam.
She also turned Elsa into another Star Wars character, but opted for the sultrier Slave Leia costume.
And it wouldn't be a Disney bash without the one who started it all, Snow White!
Played by Amber Arden, she gives Snow's primary color palette a space-age update.
We're not sure how Rapunzel, played by Maid of Might Cosplay, is going to fit all of her hair into her helmet, but her belt of pouches suggests she's prepared for anything.
Rian Synnth plays Mulan Fett. Since Mulan's costume is already plate armor, she'd be a natural at being a space bounty hunter!
When the bounty goes undersea, this is the bounty hunter you want to call. Decked out with some killer starfish and seashell armor, this Ariel, played by Traci Hines, seems like she could take on a sea witch or two.
And in case you were wondering, it's not just princesses! Peter Pan and Tinkerbell got into some bounty hunting, too.
Of course, they're used to chasing down pirates and flying, so this won't be too hard a transition.
Boba Pan here is played by Chris Villain, who took a woodsy, camouflaged approach to his costume. Maybe he took a cue from the Ewoks.
And Tinkerbell might be small, but that just means she can sneak up on you more easily!
This mini cosplayer is Miley TinyThunder, and she's armed with two blasters and some pom-poms boots. Her bounty won't stand a chance.
And here's the crew with some more traditional Boba Fetts, showing the galaxy their might.
You can find the whole series on York In A Box's Facebook, and be sure to check out some of the fantastic detail on these costumes.
