DIY Man Creates Amazing New Floor Using Thousands Of Pennies

There are some truly dedicated and creative people out there in the world, and this shows one of them doing something that just about everyone would love to have in their own home!

It took over 40,000 pennies, which equates to around $400, but the end product is worth way more than that! The amount of time and effort it took this guy to do this to his kitchen is really amazing to behold. As if re-flooring wasn't difficult enough, this guy actually made his own floor tiles.

Through a long and arduous process of lining up his pennies, gluing them together, pasting them to the ground, and finally waiting for the glue to dry, this man's project should inspire anyone to try out something fun and cool for their home.

While it doesn't have to be as big of a project as the one below, pennies make beautiful little accents to any piece of furniture. You'd actually be surprised at how many people make Do It Yourself art like this!

The penny has been in wide use in America since the 19th century. Though there have been many versions of the American cent piece, the Lincoln version that we now have today has been around since 1909!

But for some people, pennies are worthless. It takes more than 1 cent to actually make a penny, and for millions of people around America, they'll find themselves wondering what to do with these little coins.

There's always money exchange machines, but they always take such a big percentage away.

For some DIY-ers, instead of throwing pennies away or exchanging them for cash, they've decided to do something a little more artistic with them.

But for one man, he decided he wanted to be the proud owner of a completely customized "penny floor." He collected over 40,000 pennies, and on one fine weekend day he began to line them all up!

Making 12X12 "penny sheets," he slowly sticks together thousands and thousands of these small pieces of money. After measuring out his kitchen floor he saw just how much effort this project was going to take, but that didn't hold him back one bit!

After a square is finished, he flips it over and glues it in order to keep the whole thing stuck to the floor. Now you're talking some cents!

Square by square, he lays out the pennies onto his floor. This certainly must be tough on the knees, but believe us when we say it's all worth it in the end!

Along with the help of his friend, this guy has laid out a pretty amazing floor. Pretty good use of $400 worth of pennies. Some people actually throw money away, but this guy decided to make something truly unique!
