The closer we get to summer, the itchier I get for the beach. To me, there's nothing better than some warm sand, a salty breeze, and the soothing sound of ocean waves.
But no beach trip would be complete without some sunny essentials. Things like a nice book, a bottle of sunscreen, and a fresh towel are absolutely crucial when lounging in the sand. And if you're like me, you can never have enough totes to help lug your stuff to the car.
However, despite their simple design and cheap materials, some tote bags can get a little pricey. And considering what they carry and where they're going, their outrageous price tags seem a little silly.
That's why this do-it-yourself trick immediately caught my eye. With just a shirt and a pair of scissors, you'll not only have a use for all those old T's, but also an abundance of cheap totes that you won't mind slinging around in the sand.
Have any kids or grandkids heading off to camp or a slumber party? They'll not only love the end result, but the project itself is fun and easy to do. Do it together on a rainy day or a slow weekend.
Will you be trying this out yourself? I know I will!
Please SHARE if you love the beach as much as I do!
