She Tilts A Glass Then Pours In Her Favorite Color — I’ve GOT To Make This Too!

When you think about it, all you need is a simple crayon to unlock your imagination.

Just a simple crayon squiggle on a piece of paper can transform into something out-of-this-world like a pineapple-eating robot, or a robot-eating pineapple, or if you’re an artist with a penchant for finishing up your kids’ doodles, you can use crayons to create gallery-worthy pieces of art.

But what happens when someone colors outside the lines and uses the crayon itself to create something completely new?

For instance, some people melt crayons and use the wax to create Jackson Pollock-inspired portraits, others crave mini sculptures into the tips of crayons, and one beauty blogger even figured out how to make customized colored lip butter using her favorite shades in a Crayola box.

One Instructable user, AlejandraStyles, has figured out a fresh way to utilize her favorite crayon colors and the result is a beautiful handmade gift that anyone would love to have. Best part? It’s extremely easy to do. All your need are a few basic materials…

Put hot glue on the bottom of the wick and place it inside the bottom of the glass. Ideally, you want the wick to be centered in the middle.

Position the glass candleholder with the wick in a diagonal position. AlejandraStyles used a plate holder, but if you don’t have one you cam lean the glass between two books ends, or hold the glass at an angle yourself — but make sure to hold it with a potholder, because it may be hot.

Pour the contents of the paper cup into the candleholder and let it dry for 20 minutes.

Put another crayon color you like and more leftover scented candle wax in a new paper cup, microwave, and mix. Turn the glass around, angle it in the same position, and pour the second colored wax. Let it dry for 20 minutes.
