To say that Bethany Mota has turned her YouTube stardom into massive worldwide stardom on a whole new scale would be a huge understatement. Not only did she transition from YouTube to being a hit on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, but she even has her own fashion line at Aéropostale and recently got a chance to sit down for an interview with President Obama. Not bad for someone who got her start by making YouTube videos about her fashion purchases.
Once of the reasons Mota is so popular on YouTube (aside from her amazing energy and fun personality) is the fact that she's often giving her subscribers some really cool tips and tricks that they can use in their own lives.
In this video, she's doling out tips on how to throw together a really cool DIY party (she's making a New Year's Eve party, but most of the tips work for any party) with treats, party favors, and much more.
She guides viewers through how to make party hats out of card stock paper, DIY confetti poppers, yummy sparkly s'mores, sparkly fortune cookies, and even an awesome "Selfie Station" photo booth.
The coolest trick that she shares, however, is how she takes her ordinary champagne glasses and turns them into glitzy glitter glasses.
First, Mota wraps a piece of masking tape around the middle of the glass before coating the portion under the tape line with spray adhesive. Next she shakes on some super fine glitter (she chose gold, of course, but feel free to use whatever color you like) and lets it dry. Peel off the tape and you've got yourself an awesome glittery champagne glass!
