Don’t Have An Ice Pack At Home? Try Making This Instead

Life can be pretty messy sometimes, especially when you're young.

I don't know about you, but in my house the bumps, bruises, spills, and chills just never seem to stop! It can be pretty hard to predict life's little accidents, especially when they aren't as adorable as this twin sister bike riding fail.  However, there are a few things you can do to be prepared in case of an emergency.

Here at LittleThings, we're all about making your life a little easier. We know that your priorities are bigger than whether or not you have an ice pack on hand for an injury, so we created the following video to teach you to make your own whenever the time comes that you need to ease your pain.

Growing up, we used to use a bag of frozen veggies or a lunch ice pack whenever someone would have an injury, but the super simple ice packs that Jill creates in the video are way more affective and getting the job done… They're also a lot nicer to look at, which can help if you have little ones in the house.

For these easy-to-make ice packs, all you really need is some rubbing alcohol, freezer bags, sandwich baggies and water, but the blue food coloring and glitter obviously are what really does the trick!
