Staying warm during the cold winter months? Yeah, me neither. Which is why this video is so awesomely useful! Turning up the heat is the obvious way to stay warm, but going crazy with the thermostat isn't always conducive to saving money. So if you're into DIY projects, you can actually create a homemade neck warmer using everyday items you already have around the house.
Courtesy of Rumble, this project provides a simple, cheap way to instantly feel warmer — and all you need is an old sock, some rice and a party hat! Yep, a party hat. Really! Even if you've never made a craft in your life, you can make this with no problem.
By filling an old sock with rice using a paper party hat as a funnel, and then putting that sock into the microwave, you can make a soft, heated neck warmer for those cold nights and achey muscles! It's actually really easy to make, and after I tried it, I found that it stayed heated for around 20–30 minutes!
