Who doesn't love dolphins? These peaceful sea creatures are beautiful, friendly, and known for their intelligence.
Even just watching them swim around can be mesmerizing. I mean, who could forget about the dolphin pod spotted by the shore at a beach in Australia or the ones swimming next to a boat in California?
If you love dolphins just as much as I do, then this video below will fascinate you on an even greater level. It was shared by Miami Heat dancer Teressa Cee who experienced a once-in-a-lifetime moment with a special dolphin in the Bahamas.
Cee was on location filming at the Blue Lagoon Island when she let someone hold her cell phone. Unfortunately, the person dropped the phone into the water and it sank to the bottom. That's when a smart little dolphin stepped in.
"Cacique, the dolphin, actually retrieved my phone and brought it back up to me," she wrote on Facebook.
Sure, the phone will never work again…but you have to agree with her that it was the "cutest thing ever!"
The 351-lb. dolphin belongs to the Underwater Explorer’s Society of Grand Bahama Island and is described on the website as "the most fun-loving dolphin" and "one of the smartest dolphins." (We have to agree!)
