A famous Toronto clown is being called a hero after some quick-thinking that led to a fortunate – and somewhat funny – ending.
Shane Farberman, aka 'Doo Doo The Clown', was driving through Toronto when he saw something very unsettling: a man who was obviously disturbed and "in distress." Shane says that he witnessed the man jumping on cars. Soon after, the man shoved two women on the street — an action which Shane witnessed and caught on his SUV's dash cam.
This prompted the quick-thinking man to yell at the women to get in to his SUV for safety. They did, but what they saw was just as unsettling as the man who attacked them: the driver, Shane, was in full clown garb. And he happened to have two other clowns in the back seat, also in costume.
He says, "Like, these, ladies, what the heck where they thinking? I don’t think they had a chance to think."
The man continued to attack the vehicle, ripping off the side mirrors, and the authorities took over the situation as soon as they arrived. Shane had already called 911 as soon as he saw this man acting erratically. Luckily, everyone was found safe!
It may be a serious matter, but it's definitely fun to say: Doo Doo The Clown saved the day!
