Drew Barrymore Admits She Spray-Painted Her Ex’s Car In Act Of Revenge

Drew Barrymore is one of those actresses everyone loves. She's everyone's favorite Charlie's Angel, a certified rom-com queen, and a completely lovable flesh-eating, zombified suburban mom on Santa Clarita Diet. (Not to mention the most adorable child to ever encounter an on-screen alien.) She's generally regarded as a total sweetheart, is what we're saying.

But guys, Drew Barrymore in the '90s was not someone to mess with.

On a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actress got a long-held secret off her chest: She once spray-painted an ex-boyfriend's car in an act of artful revenge.

"We felt so baller," Drew recalled on the talk-show-turned-criminal-confessional.

"It was worth the phone call I might get sometime soon," Drew said, in a nod to the fact that there's a big possibility the ex might have some word for her after all these years. Spray-painting angry words all over an ex's car does sound pretty satisfying, come to think of it.

On the one hand, it's hard to believe that Drew casually told this story on national television. And on the other hand, there's nobody else who could tell this story quite like Drew — and still come off as totally lovable.

Revenge, it seems, is a dish best sprayed cold.

Let's revisit Drew through the years.

The actress has been busy starring and producing in shows and movies since her big break in E.T.

Drew looks sweet and unassuming – totally not the vandal type.

But Drew has been through a lot of phases throughout the years, from cherubic child to troubled teen.

And honestly, Drew has pretty much been a badass all along. She definitely knows how to wield a weapon.

And she's not new to this, either!

What is surprising is that she decided to out herself on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after getting away with her spray-painting prank for 20 years.

But sometimes, you just have to let things off your chest.

The story started off with the confession.

Drew went on to explain that she hadn't spray-painted anything specific about the ex, nor anything that would lead back to her.

Instead, she went with total anarchy.

That way, when her ex-boyfriend called her, "crying like a little b*tch" and asking whether she'd done it, she could deny the whole thing.

As a result, Drew got off scot-free. For 20 years.

But at the end of her story, Drew realized something.

Whoops!

But Drew said the moment was totally worth the phone call she might be getting from her ex soon. "It was really gratifying," she said.

And let's be real, Drew Barrymore is not the "give a damn" type.

Baby Drew would be so disappointed in this law-breaking version of herself!

Scratch that. No, she wouldn't.
